Top 10 TV Themes - #7: ANGEL

For the next Music Mondays, I'll be sharing my top ten favourite genre TV themes. These are those themes that I don't skip through when I'm re-watching a TV show, because they're so good or catchy. Today, we're at number 7, which is the theme song from:

I didn't care that much for the show, but who can resist the dark, eerie cello music?

    I watch the show through Netflix after I got done with Buffy. Never really had a desire to watch either show, but thought I'd give them a try and ended up liking them both. I agree about the music for Angel, though, it's awesome!

    I've seen a few episodes, but the theme for Angel is awesome. It definitely suits the slightly darker direction that the show went from Buffy

      I agree, though Buffy did seem to get darker at the end there too.

    Oooo... cello is easily my favorite instrument... and what a clever idea, Allison. I like this! (And never watched Angel... I don't know why though. I was totally a Buffy fan!)

    Against the run of opinion, I watched and loved Angel. I'm a sucker for brooding eyes :-)

    I love, love, LOVE this theme song. I'm a sucker for string instruments like the cello and violin.

    I love this theme, more than the Buffy one I think. I love the show too. So many moments have made me cry, I've lost count.

    Oh yeah, I had to listen to this one again to remember. That's pretty good. I never liked the Buffy theme music that much, although it's Buffy so it sort of all works together, and at the time it was spot-on, it just feels really dated now. The Angel theme is far more classic.
